Do we have to move everything at once?
No. Most engagements start with one problem — a failing server, a security concern, a site move — and widen from there once you have seen how we work. There is no requirement to hand over the whole estate on day one.
Do you replace our existing IT person?
Usually not. Where there is someone technical in-house we tend to cover projects, out-of-hours work and specialist areas, so they can stay on the day-to-day. We will say plainly if we think the split does not make sense.
What happens if we want to leave?
You take your documentation, credentials and asset records with you. Everything we build is recorded in a form another provider can pick up. We do not hold environments hostage.
Are you locked to particular vendors?
We have suppliers we use often because the support is good, but nothing obliges us to recommend them. If a cheaper or better-fitting option exists we will tell you, including when that means buying nothing.
How quickly do you respond?
Response targets are set in your agreement rather than promised in the abstract, because a print queue and a downed server are not the same urgency. Anything stopping people working is treated as priority.
Do you work with businesses outside your area?
Remote work covers most support and all consultancy. For anything needing hands on hardware, ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can cover you properly rather than stretch.
